A continuation of the story. Great story. Great writing. Read all three books in 2 days. Did not want to do anything but finish this story!

These characters have a past. Obviously...DUH, their exes. But, OMG, I truly hated the male lead. What a complete a**. I mean the things he does are unbelievable. He seems to have no redeeming qualities. That is, until he does.

You like the heroine. You wish at the beginning that she has a little more back bone. But then she does. She is just like most women with someone in her past that things just didn't end well with but whom she just never got over -- no matter how much she tells herself that she has. And it is that same guy that most of us could get talked in to doing things with that we normally would never consider.

Your opinion of the characters will swing from love to hate to love through out. It's a WONDERFUL emotional ride. Set some time apart to engross yourself in the books and enjoy a guilty pleasure.

Kudos to JS Cooper. You grabbed my attention. And your tie in to the next series was great. Can't wait to read it.

Book 2....left off where Katie found out about Brandon's secret after what just happened in the bathroom. She thought that sealed the deal and there was something. What a shocker to find out he has a fiancée...Of course she ran and said no more once again...but once again Brandon drew her in...
Again once she thought they were ok after he told her that his relationship w his fiancée isn't what it seems....another shocker popped up.

This girl can't win....she can't seem to stay away the sex is that crazy good. and she loves him but how much can this girl take...is it payback from how she treated him in the past?

And then when I thought I couldn't take it anymore....the ending made me want to throw my kindle...what a twist... it was all in a good way tho... I don't think I can wait another wk for book 3 to finally know what happened because I need to know NOW!!!!!! lol

OMG Brandon and Katie,,,, HOT!!!
An innocent lie gets out of hand and the guy acts like a total jerk. Felt so bad for Katie for how Brandon treated her when he found out she was an 18 year old college student instead of a 22 year old working college graduate she pretended to be, and more so after he took her like trash at the library and then breaks up with her ... how pathetic - terrible! She was an innocent young girl and he was a man twice her age at35 that never thought to give her a chance to explain.
Now seven years later they meet again, sparks are obviously still burning. After she plotted back into his life, he treated worse than ever and now she felt even mire disillusioned and broken. He played with her emotions being loving and demeaning at every chance he got and she kept coming back to him.... why? .... guess love is blind and stupid.......

OMG wait! Was he plotting too to teach her a lesson????? Can't wait to read what happens in book 3! Great read...... I don't want it to end!
I picked this up trying to find a quick read while waiting for a different series to come out. I ran across the first book in this series and figured it would be a great way to pass that time. You must read the first one before this one and definitely read the last one. You will bounce between loving and hating Brandon and I often wanted Katie to just go out on her own and move on. Interesting concept and not what I was expecting. Great read though.

In The Ex Games, Part I recent MBA graduate, Katie Raymond dreaded having to fly to San Francisco to attend company orientation after learning that her ex, billionaire Brandon Hastings, purchased her company. They had had bad break-up seven years prior, details revealed as Katie travels to meeting while reminiscing about their relationship followed by their reunion and some shocking events and news....

The Ex Games II continues with their explosive interactions and bantering in and outside of meetings offering some public sex and hot-cold displays of affection with yet another shocker taking them back to New York as the plot thickens and there are hints of huge deceptions following their break-up and right before their reunion.

I see potential for some interesting plot developments. I need to keep on reading to see if I am right and to make sure Brandon and Katie are OK...

Brandon Hastings showed promising signs of becoming a great alpha with his anger and hot-cold attitude. I might question him not picking up on warning signs, but a lot of that can be attributed to him being used to women swooning at his feet and getting caught up in the challenge of courting Katie. Five words to describe Brandon Honest, charming, noble, nurturing, protective jaded and vengeful.

BRANDON HASTINGS 35-42 years/heir/Hedge fund/CEO of Marathon Corporation/$$$$/black hair/blue eye/boss.
Brandon Hastings' anger and hot-cold attitude was both plausible and exciting. Five words to describe Brandon Honest, charming, noble, nurturing, protective jaded and vengeful.

KATIE RAYMOND 18-25 years/recent MBA graduate/executive manager at Marathon Corporation/brown hair/brown eyes/employee.
Unfortunately Katie Raymond did not endear herself to be in part II either; on the contrary her lying seems to be a default in her personality. Six words to describe Katie Naïve, immature, selfish, uncharismatic, thoughtless and deceitful.

I have deducted from my overall rating for the dialogue still feeling off including during sex; the unrealistic public sex and unprofessional dialogue in front of business associates plus an un-compelling heroine.

The Ex Games, part II moved along at a fast pace with very promising developments only to come to a shocking cliffy that I had not anticipated. I am already opening up part 3, The Ex Games III for the semi-conclusion to Brandon and Katie's story.

Interesting and thickening plot! Fast-paced story! Promising hero! I need to see this to the end! 3.5 stars!

Would I recommend this series Maybe.
Would I re-read this series Probably not.
Would I read future books by this author Yes.
When I got the 3 books I was shocked that in total there was barely 1 average size book put together. Each book is roughly 75 pages. For the cost of the series you would expect 3 full books; which I finished in 1 night.

The writing and story was great and I really enjoyed the read. I recommend it for those reasons, but might find a cheaper way to obtain them.
